I started my prezi by thinking about what myths first time parents are often subject to, and don't realize the realities of. There seems to be a lot of pressure on parents to read as much as they can, attend classes on parenting and childbirth (which, I'm not going to lie, the parenting ones are useful but I'm just not seeing the necessity of the millions of birthing classes), making birth plans, and statements ranging from "newborns are so easy!" to "your life will suck during pregnancy, and suck more after you have the baby." Thankfully, I'm not going into this completely blind since I do have two stepsons, but how the heck does one manage raising a newborn when there are so many "expert opinions" out there on what you should do to raise a happy child and make the infant years easier?

I'm starting to get my photos together by slides in Powerpoint, and I'm starting to wonder if I'm even doing this project correctly. The photos I've selected convey my points, but will they be easily understood by the viewers? Will the viewers get the connections between what first time parents hear/read versus what they actually go through?

The prezi is now finished, and I've come to realize that 1.) I truly despise Prezi, mainly because I'm simply not that creative when it comes to putting together things like this, and 2.) I may have a finished product, but I'm not sure it's what I was hoping for. I feel like I didn't convey things clearly enough for the viewers to make a connection, and I'm unsure about what I should add to fix it.
